Here’s an old, faded photograph of Cherry Vale, from Nelson’s files, without any markings on the reverse!  Who are the people in this photo? And when was the picture taken?  I would guess the date is in the early 1900s and the central figure is J. Nelson Frierson himself.  Is his mother (“Miss Lizzie” of the previous post) on the far right?  Who are the other relatives?  The dog?!
